Alice Mae Schaa

Alice Mae Schaa, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2025, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa. Alice Schaa was born July 24, 1941, in Nashua, Iowa, the daughter of Clement and Gertrude (Osterman) Diesburg. Alice graduated from Nashua

High School. On October 8, 1960, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Schaa in La Mesa, California. Alice and Kenneth owned and operated AMS Metal Products in California until their retirement. She enjoyed spending time at home with a pot of coffee, watching old westerns, watching birds out her window, visiting with the neighbors, family gatherings at her home and spending time in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; son, Guy Schaa; brothers, Bob, Ray and Larry; sisters, Debbie Diesburg and Jeannie Dietz.

Alice is survived by her two sons, Scott (Alicia) Schaa of California, Troy (Debi) of California; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Alice Schaa will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Osage Cemetery in Osage, IA.
