Anthony "Tony" Adams

Anthony "Tony" Adams, age 66, of Osage, Iowa, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center surrounded by family. Born on June 15, 1959, in Osage, Iowa to Marvin and Beverly (Krulish) Adams. Tony was the son of a hardworking family that instilled in him the values of honesty, perseverance, and compassion. He graduated in 1977 from Saint Ansgar High School. On August 28, 1999, he married Kara Rust at the Saint Ansgar Methodist Church in Saint Ansgar, Iowa.

For more than three decades, Tony owned and operated the well-loved Tony's Body Shop, a cornerstone of the community where customers became friends and friends became family. In his free time, he loved spending time in Northern Minnesota bear hunting, fishing on the weekends, and visiting with friends and family. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Tony will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and endless stories that brought laughter and warmth to every gathering.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Kara Adams; sons, Cody Adams of Osage, IA, and Scott Adams of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by his siblings, Jeff Adams of Stacyville, IA, Doug (Charlene) Adams of Stacyville, IA, and Donna (Todd) Ott of Rockford, IA, as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends who will deeply miss his presence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Beverly Adams; grandparents, Reinhart and Margaret Adams.

Tony’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and hard work will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held at Hoff Celebrations - Champion Chapel in Osage, IA, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Immediately following the visitation, a celebration of life will be held at the V.F.W. in Osage, IA from 4-? p.m. where family and friends are invited to share memories and honor Tony’s life.
