Harold C. Ammons

Harold C. Ammons, age 81, of Phoenix, Arizona, formally of Osage, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, under Hospice Care in Phoenix Arizona. Harold was born on November 25, 1944, in Charles City, Iowa. The son of Harvy and Gertrude Ammons. He graduated from Osage High School in 1963 and enlisted in the United States Army in October of 1963. Harold served three years. He was with the 82nd Airborne.

Harold is survived by his two children, Harold Jr. Ammons and Christina Ammons of Phoenix Arizona; twin brother, Howard Ammons of Osage, Iowa; sisters, Trudi Hoil of Avon, Indiana, Sally Potter of Osage, Iowa; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He his preceded in death by his parents, Harvy and Gertrude Ammons; sister, Mary Hogan.

A private family inurnment will be held at the Osage Cemetery at a later date.
