Lori Jo Mcnally

Lori Jo McNally, age 63, of Kensett, Iowa died on Wednesday, August 17, 2023 at the at her home in Kensett. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kensett. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schroeder Funeral Homes in Northwood. Burial will be at Kensett Cemetery Friday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m. Lori was born on August 30, 1959 in Mason City, Iowa to Lloyd H. and Donna Mae (Johnson) Larson. She attended Northwood Kensett High School graduating in 1977. She met Mike McNally in 1977 and they married on September 1, 1979. Lori was known for her canning, especially her pickles, and made a lot of lefsa continuing her mother’s tradition. She was an avid card player, enjoyed the casino, and bowling. Lori and Mike traveling together. Their most memorable trips were to Las Vegas, NV, and attending many Minnesota Vikings and Twins games. They also helped with many auctions. Lori is survived by her: husband, Mike; brothers, Larry Larson and Lonny Larson; cats, Socks, Sammy and Gray; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lane, Kay Yezek, Mary Kamish; brother-in-law, Pat (Cindy) McNally; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and special cousin Peggy Julseth.
