Paul Joseph Schwab

Paul Joseph Schwab, age 88, died on Wednesday, June 17th at Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Paul was born on September 2nd, 1937, in Osage, Iowa. He was the son of Alex and Anna (Kloberdanz) Schwab. He graduated from Osage High School. Paul lived at the family home of 1209 Walnut the majority of his life. He worked for Champions Furniture in Osage for his entire career. You could always count on seeing Paul with a cold Pepsi in his hand. Paul enjoyed watching baseball, collecting comic books, and records. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Paul is survived by his sister-in-law, Elaine Schwab of Osage; nieces Kristy Miller, Jessica Balsley, and Julie Marley of Osage; nephews, Mike Schwab of Waverly, Mark Schwab of Mason City, Doug Schwab and his wife Allyson of Cedar Falls, and numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, and his brothers Phil Schwab and Ron Schwab.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
