Raymond Donald Hanson

Raymond Hanson, 89, of Osage, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. Ray was born on June 4, 1936, the son of Orvid and Eva (Grossmeyer) Hanson. He was united in marriage to Roberta Smith on February 19, 1954, in Bethany, Missouri. After retirement from Croell Redi-Mix, he worked part-time for Johnson Oil and Lowell Kittleson. Ray enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, camping and woodworking. He made many pieces of beautiful furniture.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roberta, brother, his sons, Ray and Joe; infant son, Ronald and grandson, Mike.

He is survived by his daughter, Penny (Mike) Counsell of Osage; daughter-in-law, Donna Hanson of Little Cedar; 5 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
