Ronald Kent Pint

Ronald Kent Pint, age 73, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his family after a battle with ALS. Ron was born November 11, 1951, to John Pint and Edna (Cockrum) Pint in Osage, Iowa. He was the youngest of 6 children. He graduated from Osage High School in 1969. Ron joined the Army in 1970 and volunteered to go to Vietnam. After returning home from Vietnam he then later married Connie Adams, his high school sweetheart on November 19, 1977. To this union they had two children, Ryan and Renae. His proudest accomplishment in life was his children and his grandson Ashton, who was the light of his life.

Ron is survived by his wife Connie; his son, Ryan (Val) of West Des Moines; daughter, Renae of West Des Moines; grandson, Ashton Pint; sister, Barbara Omlor of Columbus, Ohio; brother, John (Barb) Pint of Mitchell; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie Pint, Jackie Grimm, Terry Adams, Kim Clayton, Paula Kamp (Randy), and Sherry (Don) Schmidt, and a host of nieces, nephews, and Dale the cat.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Erma Jean, brother Larry Pint, and brother Fred Pint. We will miss his loving sense of humor.

His Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Osage, Iowa.
