Sharon Kaye Sheldon

Sharon Kaye Sheldon, age 78, of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at her home in Osage. Sharon was born on October 14, 1946, in Osage, the daughter of Fred and Mildred (Laga) Conrad. She attended Osage Schools.

On July 16, 1965, Sharon married Walter “Bub” Sheldon at the First United Methodist Church in Osage. Sharon Worked at Mode-O-Day and Fox River Mills prior to becoming a CNA and working at White House (now Osage Rehabilitation). Sharon enjoyed collecting dolls, playing bingo, reading, and visiting. She had a love of all animals, especially dogs and cats.

Sharon is survived by her sister, Donna Diers; brother, Dan (Patti) Conrad; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Allyn and Darlene Sheldon, and sister-in-law, Vi Sheldon, along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, JoAnn and Gene Squire; sister-in-law, Sharon Shaw; brother-in-law, Tom Diers; nephew, Joe Diers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Hoff Celebrations – Champion Chapel in Osage, Iowa, with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. A visitation will take place at 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
