William "Otis" W. Hawley

Wiliam "Otis" W. Hawley, age 72, of St. Ansgar, IA, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City. Otis was born November 23, 1953, in Lakewood, California to Wyatt and Margaret (Wiltrout) Hawley. He was a truck driver for over 53 years. Otis married Juanita Brown on May 21, 2004, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He enjoyed camping, gardening, yard work for him and the neighbors, and vacationing at Yellowstone National Park. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends.

Otis is survived by his wife, Juanita; children, Andrea (Jeremy) Hiatt, Jerry (Chandel) Hawley, Lisa (James) Berntson, and Wrynatee Hawley; grandchildren, Brayden, JD, Theran, Kyra, Jayzan, Haley, Trevor, Kelsey; great-grandchildren; Serenity Rose Marshall, and Carson Otis Wayne Newton; sister, Zelda Austin; pets, dog: Zoey, Parrott: Boomer, and cat: Otto. He is preceded in death by his parents. 

A Celebration of Life for Otis will be held at a later date.
